May Mixer and Pricing Panel Recap
May 10, 2024The May Mixer and Pricing Panel was EPIC ✨🥹💙
On Tuesday, May 7th, Atlanta’s freelancers made their way to Roswell for our 4th Freelance Unlocked mixer.
After some networking, delicious cocktails by Gate City Brewing, and yummy charcuterie by Sweet and Sourdough ATL, we began our first-ever panel discussion.
Our pricing panel featured 4 amazing guests with a wide range of freelance experiences. They shared amazing advice about pricing - from practically, where to begin when you create a new proposal, to navigating mindset blocks around raising your prices and talking about money in general.
My biggest takeaway? The best way to price your services depends on YOU. Your pricing is going to be influenced by dozens of factors, like…
- Who do you want to work with?
- What kind of work do you want to do?
- What do you want your daily life to look and feel like?
- What lifestyle are you seeking, and how much money do you need to make it happen? (It’s probably less than you think)
Thank you so much to all those who attended the event (and supported us from afar). I’m so grateful for you!
With every event we have, I’m more and more certain that there is no better place for freelancers in Atlanta to find connection, community, mentorship, and business resources—not to mention, opportunities to grow your biz through collaboration and referrals.
Until the next one!
Love,
Haley
Special thanks to our panelists!
